  The sports league between officers and youth union members of agencies in 2016 On 19 May 2016 at Phu Loi Prison monument, the Standing Committee and the Trade Union of Binh Duong Agencies jointly organized “The sports league between officers and youth union members” of agencies in 2016 with nearly 40 units participating
  Based on the demand of enterprise support to deployment online services in the future; to publicly the hotline telephone number and the name of customs officers supporting enterprises in the Customs Branch.
  Binh Duong Customs Department continues promoting the study and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh On 25 April 2016, the Party Committee of Binh Duong Customs Department held a Summary Conference 5-year on implementing Directive 03-CT/TW of the Politburo on continuing promoting the study and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh.
  Since early this year, Binh Duong Customs had proactive implemented several measures of administrative reform; performed automatic customs clearance (VNACCS/VCIS) smooth, applied online public services, thereby it contributed to faster customs clearance of goods for enterprises. These reforms of the Customs had been receiving the consent of the enterprises...
  The electronic clearance system a national single window (VNACCS/VCIS) funded by Japan had helped Vietnam Customs in general and Binh Duong Customs in particular to take a high step on the reform and modernization of Customs in business activities and conformity with the standards of the world Customs (WCO). However, due to objective reality, there were still some types of procedures, documents, customs declarations and “attached” documents which had not been computerized, so the enterprises must continue bringing documents to the Customs to submit the original documents and recorded.
  To perform the guiding spirit of the Ministry of Finance, the People's Committee of Binh Duong province about the holiday on the occasion of Hung King's death anniversary and the directing by the General Department of Customs on the organization for officers on duty and customs clearance assistance on the holidays in 2016.
  On 24 April 2016, at stadium of military zone 7 in Ho Chi Minh city it took place friendly sports league among the Customs Departments of the provinces and cities of the Southeast hosted by Ho Chi Minh City Customs Department. The league consists of teams from Customs Departments such as Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Ba Ria-Vung Tau and the home side – Ho Chi Minh city Customs Department.
  On 7th April, in Binh Duong, General Administration of Customs had cooperated with Binh Duong Customs Department to organize the Symposium on Customs management for the type of processed goods, manufactured goods and processing of export. Attending and directing the seminar there were Mr. Au Anh Tuan - Deputy Director of Customs Control and Supervision Department - General Department of Customs; Mr. Nguyen Truong Giang and Mr. Duong Hong Hanh - Deputy Director of Binh Duong Customs Department.

  WASHINGTON — As agreed in the Trade Facilitation and Trade Enforcement Act of 2015, signed by President Barack Obama Feb. 24, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced that March 10, it raised the value of a shipment of merchandise imported by one person on one day that generally may be imported free of duties and taxes from $200 to $800. This raising of the de minimis exemption is due to an amendment of the Tariff Act of 1930 included in the Trade Facilitation and Trade Enforcement Act of 2015.
