  Release Date: October 31, 2016 SALTON CITY, Calif. – El Centro Sector Border Patrol agents from the Indio Station assigned to the Highway 86 checkpoint simultaneously arrested two men suspected of smuggling drugs hidden in their trucks on Friday.
  PHARR, Texas—U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Field Operations (OFO) at the Pharr International Bridge cargo facility seized alleged methamphetamine valued at $1,763,680 over the weekend.
  TUCSON, Ariz. – Customs and Border Protection officers arrested two men involved in separate weekend attempts to sneak approximately $87,000 worth of methamphetamine through the Port of Nogales.

  In morning of 29th September 2016, Binh Duong Customs Department authorized by the General Department of Customs had announced and awarded the Decision No. 3171/QD-TCHQ dated 23rd September 2016 of the General Director of the General Department of Customs regarding the application of the priority mode in the field of customs as prescribed in Circular No. 72/2015/TT-BTC dated 12nd May 2015 of the Ministry of Finance to Phonak Vietnam Company (Phonak Vietnam Operation Center ) in Vietnam – Singapore Industrial Park, Binh Duong Province.
  Implementing the program of action of the Ministry of Finance on Resolution 35 (Decision No. 1239/QD-BTC) and Decision No. 1907/QD-TCHQ of General Department of Customs issued the Action Plan to implement Resolution 35 of the Government.
  Binh Duong Customs Department participates in the contest "Young charming officers" in 2016 At the night 23/9/2016, at the Cultural - Film Center of the province there is the final contest "Young charming officers" of Binh Duong Province in 2016 organized by the provincial Youth Union of the Agencies in collaboration with provincial Trade Union.
  According to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Vietnam (VCCI) - Ministry of Industry and Trade in early 2016 published annual report Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI) in 2015 in Binh Duong province.
  After 10 years of implementation, until now the Law on Export and Import Tax had exposed some shortcomings, particularly in the context of Vietnam's integration into the world economy, as well as participated in the implementation of international cooperation commitments in the countries and regions. Therefore, the Law on Export and Import Tax No. 45/2005/QH11 dated 14th June 2005 should be modified, developed as a tool to protect and facilitate domestic production. At the same time, to ensure the stability of tax policies and procedures of the tax and customs agencies to harmonize the management of state agencies while improving the competitiveness of the business community in Vietnam in the coming time. Therefore, the Law on Export and Import Tax No. 107/2016/QH13 was adopted.

  A 32-year-old Brazilian national has been charged for allegedly attempting to bring cocaine through Brisbane International Airport yesterday (Sunday 30 October 2016).
