NEWS - ACTIVITIES

  Binh Duong Customs Department responds to the second "Blood Donation" program in 2016 Recently, Binh Duong Customs Department and the Standing Committee of Youth Union of provincial agencies have organized the second "Blood Donation" program in 2016.
  On 30th June, Binh Duong People's Committee chaired and coordinated with Binh Duong Customs Department, Vietnam Logistics Review Magazine to organize a seminar "Binh Duong – Potential, advantages of logistics development and the role of Customs "in ICD Tan Cang- Song Than Binh Duong.
  In morning 26th May 2016, Binh Duong Customs Department co-operated with Japanese Business Associations investing in Binh Duong to hold a dialogue conference with more than 70 Japanese enterprises investing in Binh Duong. The annual dialogue conference were held by Binh Duong Customs Department to disseminate timely, extensive regulations, tax policy, customs and answer the problems of enterprises in doing customs procedures in Binh Duong.
  The Trade Union of Binh Duong Customs Department strongly supported the poor to overcome poverty "I think I am dreaming," which was very true and simple statement of a poor people in Dong Thap when the Trade Union leaders of Binh Duong Customs Department awarded a charity house from the fund of officers working in Binh Duong Customs Department, Ngoc Suong’s grandmother shared.
  Date 18th May 2016, Binh Duong Customs Department in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Vietnam VCCI - HCM Branch and Taiwan Business Association in Binh Duong held a dialogue conference with Taiwan enterprises investing in Binh Duong.
  Binh Duong Customs Department: Deployment of "Month of prevention of drugs" and "Day of prevention of drugs of the whole population on 26th June" Following the Plan No. 1672/KH-UBND dated 30thMay 2016 of People's Committee of Binh Duong province issued the plan to organize propagation activities in response to "Day of prevention of drugs of the whole population on 26thJune" in 2016.

World Customs News

  On March 18, Shenzhen Customs announced that, at Luohu port on February 24, it seized a batch of suspected smuggled animal products from within the luggage of an inward passenger, including 20 pieces of musk, 30 bear galls, one pack of bear gall cream, 20 packs of ox gallstones and 10 packs of bovine calculus powder.
  On April 7, Shanghai Customs announced a shoe sole-hidden drug smuggling case. On March 19, an inward foreign passenger was found entering via Shanghai Pudong International Airport with two packets of white powder hidden in his shoe soles. Later the powder,totaling over 680 grams, was identified to beheroin.
